Co-op enthusiasts gathering people to start a brand new cooperative venture

Here is our typical 60-minute meeting agenda:
The highlight of each meeting is the Roast of the Month. A typical roast involves a 5-minute description of a workshop plan or exercise plan by the hosting member. The group asks questions about how the plan aligns with critical pedagogy and experiential education best practices. Finally, the entire group engages in a rapid-fire brainstorming session.
Needs sharing follows the rapid coordination model designed by the Converge Network. A 4-minute overview of their work is here.
Following a meeting, members are welcome to stay on the call for another 30 minutes to chat or dive deeper into an urgent topic.
We meet monthly on the Third Thursday via Google Meet. We encourage all new members to join our Discord server. Email sshelato@gmail.com to request access to Discord and virtual meetups.
An Impact Network is a model for organizing that may fit this project in we gain some early traction. If our end goal is a robust ecosystem of practitioners, support institutions, events and resources, then it is very unlikely that one small group of people can build it alone.
A book outlining this approach emerged from the work of the Converge network. The Converge toolkit for fostering an impact network is available freely online. In our meetings, we hope to experiment with many of the techniques found in the toolkit.
